SJHOP

It’s really interesting how Ryan wrote an article on “Stop Praying for Revival” and then we visit a house of prayer the next day…

When Ryan and I arrived (at the church), we reeeaallly did not want to be there. It had an all too familiar feel of old covenant begging mindsets.

After about 30 minutes of  some prayer (in tongues) walking, I found the church’s library. It was an enormous gold mine. Every book was worn out, most of them were at least 50 years old. Ryan came into the room after I had been reading for 10 minutes. We were like kids in a candy shop.

After another 10 minutes, the leader (his name was Kurt) of the HOP (House of Prayer) came over and introduced himself. He told us we were welcome there anytime. It was a quick introduction and he went back to praying.

10 more minutes go by, and then the leader comes up to us again with his wife. Ryan says, “let me show you something real quick…” We grow her leg out, and her back pain leaves. Ryan grows out 3 other legs, they’re all amazed. Kurt’s son had some problems with his knees, we knock it out after 2-3 hits. Ryan gets a word of knowledge for someone’s elbow, and another guy gets healed.

I asked Kurt’s wife if we could just take the mic and get everyone healed, she gave me a green light. There weren’t that many people there in the first place, but I grew 2 legs out, and one lady’s back pain gets healed too. By this time, everyone at the HOP is in the library because Ryan/Dennis are healing and bulldozing. One of the leaders had tendinitis, so we tag-team it a few times and it gets 95% better.

Ryan begins to shoot sacred cows and surprisingly, the cows didn’t moo. For about 30-40 minutes, we tore (that might be too harsh of a word) apart the idea of “God, end abortion and send revival to America.” It worked because we demonstrated before we spoke, and then after we just showed it in scripture. The majority of them took it very well, and most of them felt we were an answer to prayer. Apparently the day before, they prayed, “God awaken your servants within a 1 mile radius of this place.” We lived 1 mile away. On the way here, Ryan’s GPS said we lived exactly 1 mile away.

Scary. But fun.

This is a whooole lot bigger than we thought it was.

We’re excited to see when this stuff will penetrate IHOP…
