Healings at Target
Israel (a friend of mine) wanted to get training on how to heal the sick. He’s a Sophomore at Monta Vista High School.
I picked him up from school, and gave him a quick 10 minute workshop on how to heal the sick because this was his first time [healing the sick].
Our first stop was at Target. When we walked in, Israel said he saw a guy with a walker and a cane (I didn’t see it). He was an older gentleman, and he was eating in the food court… I went up and asked what happened, and he said he had diabetes. I asked if he would like prayer, and he said, “sure,” with a smile on his face.
I commanded diabetes to go, and then I told him to stand. I helped him up, he checked himself, and he said he felt “looser.” I asked if he had any pain, he said, “all over.” I commanded all the pain in his body to go, and then he said he was “good.” He was busy eating so it felt like he wanted us to leave. Looking back, I probably should have stayed because I think he had some hearing problems.
Later, I saw a lady and got a word of knowledge for her wrist. But when we got closer, I saw she had some kind of brace on her arm and asked what it was for. She said she had tendinitis, so I told her about the man who had diabetes and all his pain left. I took her hand and had to hit it twice before all the pain was gone. The lady was a little shocked, and didn’t believe us. She was a believer, but was skeptical about what we did (ironic!).
We left Target, I missed a word of knowledge, and then we headed to a Footwear store. We were about to leave the store, when a lady caught my eye. I went up to her and asked if her feet caused her knee pain. She said yes, so I offered to pray for her. I grew her leg out and told her to check her knees. She said it felt a little better, so I commanded the knee pain to go. After that, all the pain was gone, and she thanked me.
I asked if she knew Jesus, she affirmed it, so I told her about her authority over the devil and sickness…
We left the store and kept walking. I got shot down four more times, and then we decided to go back to Target.
We walked past a guy who was wearing a Jewish Cap and I really wanted to see what would happen if he got healed. So went and asked if he had back trouble. He said he had it frequently, but not at that moment. I offered to pray for him and he rejected me in the most graceful way… “Look, I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I’m just going to get my suit and be on my way…”
I probably should have figured out a better way into the conversation…
Shortly after, the lady who was healed of tendinitis before, saw us again and waved us down and said, “my shoulder hurts.” Israel commanded all the pain to go, and then we told her to test it out. She moved it and said, “better!” I hit it, and then most of the pain was gone. She said it hurt when she put pressure on it, so I hit it again and then it was good.
She kept saying “I don’t believe you guys.” Israel asked what had caused her pains, and she told us it was because of her work. So then I asked if she had arthritis, which she did. So, we hit that too, and her hands felt looser. I don’t know why, but she was still skeptical, she “didn’t believe us.” Jesus really blew her mind…
We kept moving, Israel had a word of knowledge for a left wrist. A few minutes later, we see a lady with a brace on her left wrist. We go up to her and she lets Israel pray for her healing. She moved it around and said it felt better. We hit it again, and then all the pain was gone. I asked if she knew Jesus and she said she knew Mary. I shared a little bit, but she didn’t look like she was about to leave Catholicism…. so I let her be. (Any ideas/suggestions/testimonies with encounters like this??)
We saw an older man limping, and I knew I should have pulled a Todd White, but I didn’t, so I got shot down.
We were just about to leave the store, but I said, “let’s walk around 1 more time.” Just as I said that, I saw a lady who had a brace on her right arm. I asked her what happened and she said it was tennis elbow. I asked if she wanted the pain to go and said, “give me your hand.” She gave me a hesitant look, so I told her to just trust me.
I commanded all the pain to go and told her to check it. It was feeling better, but not 100%, so I hit it again. She said all the pain was gone, in front of her mother, and her daughter. She was a believer too, so I told her about her authority in Christ. I blitzed them, and they were thankful.
During our last run, we saw an older lady pushing her cart. I went and asked if she had anything I could pray for. She was hard of hearing so I had to repeat myself 3-4 times.
I reallly should have pulled a Todd White on her too. But, I didn’t. So nothing happened. She politely declined.
Good thing I’m still learning…
…
At the end of the day, my friend told me he was hooked. Now he knows why I dropped out of school to do this. He said, “I could do this all day!”

I would highly recommend you check out The Elijah Challenge, and download their training manual.
It has helped me tremendously these past few weeks as I have been reading it (the manual). I don’t agree with everything in it, but there is a lot of material that is very practical and thorough.

Random Testimonies…
Last Wednesday, I went out to eat lunch with an old friend. When we went up to pay, the manager came out to ask her for prayer (my friend got her healed before). The lady had pain in her left forearm, we hit it twice and all the pain was gone. She also said that her right hand was feeling numb. I commanded the feeling to return, told her to test it out, and she said it was good!

Last Thursday, a guy knocked on my door to sell a “wonder cleaner.” He showed me how it worked, and I was impressed. It cost $40 so I told him that I probably wouldn’t buy it. I asked if he had any pain in his body and he said his ankle hurt. So I said, “Here, give me your hand,” I hit it once and he moved his foot around for the longest time and finally said, “it’s good.”
5 minutes later I remembered, that morning, I had withdrew $40 thinking that I might need it. So I went outside, chased the guy down and I told him I changed my mind. I told him that he had a call of God on his life and Jesus radically loved him… all while he was smoking a cigarette…

Last Sunday [early] morning, I was on my way to Ryan/Dennis’ house. I was at a stoplight, and I saw an older man limping across the street. I hesitated, wrestled in my mind. I finally reached over and rolled the window down and heard in my head, “You’re crazy, you’re crazy, you’re crazy.”
I yelled out, “Hey, excuse me sir, do you have pain your body?”
He stopped walking and said, “Yea, why?”
“Let me pray for you.”
“Pull over…”
I proceed to command all the pain in his body to go, and then I ask him to see how he feels.
“Better…”
I hit it one more time and then the light turned green. I accelerated and looked back to see how he was doing. He looked really confused. Haha.
Thinking back, I probably should have just pulled over and finished it, but I was in shock (in a good way) at myself for pulling that off…

On Saturday… we went to Walmart…
—
On Sunday, I was at Jenn‘s home church. I was talking to some of the guys about what happened at Walmart, and a few of them were interested in learning how to heal the sick. Coincidentally, one of the younger kids in the church told me that he had pain in his leg. So I instructed 2 of the older guys to command the pain to go.
- Talk to it like a person
- Tell it what you want it to do
- You have all authority, the enemy doesn’t have any
- If it doesn’t go all the way the first time, treat it like a dog that doesn’t obey a command the first time
They took turns commanding the pain to go. After hitting it about 5 times, all the pain was gone, and the younger kid could do squats without any pain. Woohoo!

We went to WalMart to get Oreos.
Well.. before that, we (Sam/Ryan) visited 2 “churches” in the area, hoping to stir up something (heal the sick). At the first “church,” nothing really happened. We went up to a few people and asked if they had any pain in their body, no hits. At the second one, it was a Spanish service that was just ending. I told one of the guys there, “we’re here to heal the sick.” He went up to the pastor, and returned saying, “I asked the pastor, there’s no one here that’s sick.”
Right…
So we finally decided to go to Walmart. As we were walking in, we saw two ladies walking in, and one had a cane. Ryan went up to her and asked what had happened and she said she had fallen in an accident. We prayed and she said some of her pain was gone. They were thankful, but didn’t look like they wanted to continue.
We walked around, trying to find somewhere to start. We finally saw a guy grabbing his shoulder (I thought he was just scratching it…) and Ryan said that he probably hurt it. Sam went up to him and asked if his shoulder was bugging him, and they said no.
We kept moving and Ryan went up to an “unsuspecting” employee to ask if she had back pain but she shut him down.
…
Ryan went up to an Asian lady he saw limping (her daughter reaaally didn’t like it and shut him down). Meanwhile, Sam and I saw two boys by a chair (setup!), so I went up to them and said, “Hey can I show you guys something cool?” They looked at me funny and I explained that they had 1 leg shorter than the other. I grew one of their legs out and they were wowed. I asked if he had any back pain and he said that it would hurt if he stretched backwards. I told him to check it and when he did, he said there was no more pain. I asked if they believed in Jesus, and they said they did, so then I started explaining to them the authority (Luke 10:19) that they had in Christ (they looked about 10 years old). I told them they could heal anyone they knew, their parents, their friends… anyone, because Jesus gave them authority to. They were someone shocked/dumbfounded and excited with their newfound authority and they went off.
…
I went up to a guy and asked him if he had hurt his elbow, missed it.
Ryan started talking to an employee who had ankle pain, but didn’t want prayer.
We kept going and then we saw 2 people in scooters. Ryan went up to them and asked what had happened. The guy said he had ruptured discs in his spine which caused a lot of pain. After commanding it to go a few times, all the pain had left and he had less tension. His mom was behind, so we asked what had happened to her. I don’t remember exactly what she had, but I know she had pain throughout her legs. Ryan did the same with her, and he told her to walk. She moved her legs higher and higher while Ryan continued to speak strength to her legs. Finally, said that it was good, and that all the pain was gone. We spoke to them a little more (they were believers), I told them the same thing that I had told the 2 boys earlier (about their authority). In the middle of speaking to them, the 2 boys (from earlier) came up to us and we told them what had happened. They were all very thankful, and we were off.
…
Ryan overheard a boy complaining about his shoulder hurting. Ryan hit it once, but nothing happened, so then he had his friend pray for it. We hit it a few more times, but it didn’t leave all the way. We were interrupted by some employees working there, so the boys left.
…
I saw a lady with her hand on her back. Ryan and I both suspected she had pain, so I went up to her and asked. She confirmed it, so I said, “Here let me show you something,” while I reached out my hand. She gave me her hand and I commanded the pain to go. She said it felt a little better, but not all the way, so I hit it again and then she said it was good. I preached Jesus and his goodness, she was grateful.
It was about this point when we saw the Oreos and grabbed a pack….haha.
…
I shot and missed another word.
…
We walked past a lady that was staring off into space. She caught our eye and Ryan gave me a “go-for-it” look. I went up to her to ask her if she had any pain in her body. She looked at me funny and then called her daughter over (I realized she didn’t speak English). I told her daughter what I was doing, and she translated it into Spanish for her mother. The mom said she had pain all over her body, and she finally let me pray for her.
After commanding the pain to go, she said it had gone down a little. Then she mentioned that it was fibromyalgia (which really help in how to pray), so I told her that I was going to pray again. I hit it one more time, commanded fibromyalgia to go, and it did. She said all the pain was gone “for now.” They said they were believers, so again, I told them about their authority in Christ. After, they thanked me, and I gave them Ryan’s card.
I went back to the group and saw Sam talking to a lady who worked there… I turned around and I saw a dad with 2 of his kids. They caught my eye so I went up and said, “Excuse me, sir, do you have any pain in your body, like in your elbow/shoulder?”
“Yea, how did you know?”
I explained a little bit, and then he let me knock it out. The pain started going down progressively. Somewhere along the way, Ryan and Sam came over and Ryan started talking to the little girl (Leslie). She had bandages on her arm and her knee because of a nasty car accident from earlier that week. Ryan commanded the pain to leave while I kept going with the dad (Adam).
When the little girl was pain-free, her dad was suuuper encouraged and let his daughter pray for him. Ryan asked if he had any lower back pain (he did) and then we proceeded to grow all their legs out (Adam, Leslie and their son). I called out Adam’s knees, prayed, and all the pain left.
Then Adam asked if we could pray for his diabetes, so Ryan had the daughter lay hands on him. After we commanded diabetes to go, Adam said he felt stuff in his stomach moving and he felt a lot better. About this time, Ryan takes out his iphone and starts recording.
Adam shares what happened to Ryan (on camera) and then finally the girlfriend (of Adam) shows up with his other daughter. They were all every excited and the girlfriend (Esther) was finally persuaded to allow us to pray. Ryan had the whole family praying and every now and then Leslie would “wow” us with something she couldn’t do before we met.
Finally, all of Esther’s upper back pain was gone, she also had me pray for some condition that caused a lot of itchiness in her back. That was totally healed after we hit it once. We all pray commanded pain in Esther’s arm to go too.
Finally, Esther said that Junior used to have nightmares. Ryan had Leslie cast out the demon and after, Junior said that he felt something lift, and he felt “alive.”
While we were talking, Esther’s mom was on the phone (she had some stomach problem). Ryan led Adam to command the stuff to go, and she felt something happen!
Maribel was also on the phone calling a few of her friends telling them what had happened.
We spoke a little more and then just as the family was about to leave, an employee pulled Adam aside and asked him what happened. The lady was deaf (I think it was bad because she didn’t have a hearing aid) so we hit it for about 10 minutes before she had to go work.
It was really fun because the whole time while we were with the family, we had random customers and employees staring at us, some would ask questions… we gathered a crowd! (up to this point we often dispersed crowds, opposite of what Jesus did)
After that, I saw another lady in a scooter. I chased her down and saw her next to a crowd (I hesitated…). I finally went and asked, “This might be too personal, but I saw you in the scooter, and I was wondering what happened?” She got REALLY defensive and asked, “Yes, I’m disabled, are you you doing a survey or something?”
“No, I pray for people, and they get well.”
She let me do my thing (I think I surprised her with my answer) and after, I told her to walk/test it out. She stood up, but told me she could walk before, just not very long. She thanked me and got moving.
Meanwhile, Sam approached a couple that I had prayed for the last time I was at Walmart. We commanded the stuff to go, but we didn’t see any visible change…
At the checkout, I saw the lady had a brace on her right wrist. I asked her what happened and she said she had trouble picking up heavier items. I told her to “here, give me your hand” and I commanded her wrist to be made whole. I told her to check it, and she said it was a little better. I hit it again, and she was really indifferent so she didn’t really answer.
On the way out, Ryan saw a group of Asians with crazy hair/goth clothes. He asked if any of them had any pain in their body, and then all of a sudden a random guy who was missing his left forearm butts in and says, “I have pain.” Ryan hit it, and commanded the arm to grow out, the pain was completely gone, but we didn’t see his arm grow.
The guy caught up with his wife, and Ryan had a word of knowledge for her back. He hit it once and all the pain had gone. Ryan gave them his card and we said that we did this (heal the sick) full time.
Boom.

After further follow-up with Adam, this is what we heard:
He slept the entire night through without having to wake up and use the bathroom—no more symptoms of diabetes—slept on his shoulder that had been severely injured…his daughter who had been in a bad car accident and hardly able to walk is STILL running around jumping……and totally fine—all their friends are amazed and apparently he knows a bunch of business owners in the Bay Area who “would be very interested to talk to [us]” and now he’s going around telling EVERYONE that JESUS is a HEALER TODAY.
“I don’t feel tired, I don’t feel sleep, I don’t feel drained..I feel like a regular person now I can do things! It was the first time in 5 years that I was able to sleep through the night without having to get up and use the bathroom I slept like a baby—the symptoms from the diabetes are gone. My daughter’s knees don’t hurt anymore either! Our lives are forever changed. What I saw, and what I felt, I do believe. There is nothing that nobody can tell me that what you did wasn’t real. People know I was an unbeliever but now I’m not. People are going to look at me in a different way now.”
…his girlfriend was able to sit down in a movie theater for the first time in ages without getting headaches or back trouble–and a woman who he called while we were there who had stomach trouble that he prayed for has been fine ever since and she even went to a church service this morning to thank God for what He did!
